Photoshop Exposure Adjustment

Updated: Dec 23, 2020

If you're interested in learning basic Photoshop adjustments in Adobe Photoshop, check out my latest video on Youtube. In this video you will learn about Exposure in Photoshop.

Exposure is a measure of the amount of light in which a photo was taken. So if an image is too dark it's underexposed and if an image is too light it is overexposed.

There are 3 settings in photoshop to adjust exposure in a photograph.

1. Exposure

2. Offset - this will darken the shadows and midtone values

3. Gamma Correction - Relative bright and dark value of the image

This video will also show you how to select a specific section of the photo and only correct the exposure in the section you selected.
