How to Create a Holiday Title Animation in Adobe After Effects
Learn how to create a simple holiday text animation in Adobe After Effects. You do not need any plugins to create this text animation. We will be using a text animation, gradient ramp and CC snowfall to create a holiday title animation. You will learn how to create keyframes to animate the pine tree. You will also learn how the add a CC Snowfall effect which is located under effects and presets.
There are so many text animations to choose from in Adobe After Effects. Today we will be adding a simple Fade Up Words text animation located under animation presets - text - animate in.
We will use Divide Mode on the pine tree to change the color of the tree. According to the Adobe After Effects User Guide:
The divide mode divides underlying color by source color. If the source color is white, the result color is the underlying color. Result color values can be greater than 1.0 in 32-bpc projects
This tutorial is for After Effects beginners and anyone that has limited time to create a title animation.
